Mini Apple Crumble

This super easy dessert is a great late minute addition to your dinner table.

  • 3 Apples
  • 3/4 Cup mixed Dried Fruit eg sultanas, raisons etc
  • 1 Tablespoon Orange Juice
  • Zest of 1 Orange
  • 1/2 teaspoon Mixed Spice


  • 2 Tablespoons Almond Meal
  • 2 Tablespoons Coconut Flour
  • 2 Tablespoons desicatted Coconut
  • 1 Tablespoon Coconut Oil softened
  • 1/2 Tablespoon Maple Syrup/Rice Malt Syrup/Honey



  • Preheat the oven to 180C/360F.
  • Cut the top off each apple, about 1cm down from the top. Using a melon baller or a small knife and spoon remove the inside of the apple, leaving a 5-10mm rim around the edge and bottom of the apple. This keeps the apple sturdy.
  • Combine the dried fruit, orange juice, zest and spice in a small bowl and stir until combined.
  • Evenly spoon the fruit mixture into the 3 apples.
  • Combine all the crumble ingredients in a bowl and stir until combined.
  • Place the apples on a baking tray and then evenly spoon the crumble on top of the apples.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crumble has turned a golden brown and the apple skin has softened.
  • Serve hot with custard, cream or ice cream.
