This super easy dessert is a great late minute addition to your dinner table.
3/4Cupmixed Dried Fruiteg sultanas, raisons etc
Zest of 1 Orange
1/2TablespoonMaple Syrup/Rice Malt Syrup/Honey
Preheat the oven to 180C/360F.
Cut the top off each apple, about 1cm down from the top. Using a melon baller or a small knife and spoon remove the inside of the apple, leaving a 5-10mm rim around the edge and bottom of the apple. This keeps the apple sturdy.
Combine the dried fruit, orange juice, zest and spice in a small bowl and stir until combined.
Evenly spoon the fruit mixture into the 3 apples.
Combine all the crumble ingredients in a bowl and stir until combined.
Place the apples on a baking tray and then evenly spoon the crumble on top of the apples.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crumble has turned a golden brown and the apple skin has softened.
