Guilt-less Desserts & Treats for your Family

The Best of 2015

Ahhh 2015. You’ve been a HUGE year, the hugest so far (and I’m not just talking about the size of my belly in August!).

This year we have sold our house, bought another one and moved, all with a growing belly.

This year 6yo H started school and 3yo S started Kinder (many a tear was shed)

And this year we had a baby, Miss L in August. She was smaller than her brothers were (it took her until 6 weeks old to reach their birth weight – they were giants!) and is adored by us all.

2015 also saw 80 new recipe posts, my first recipe in a printed magazine, a handful of sponsored posts, a new Easter eBook and an updated Christmas eBook. It was a very, very busy year.

Today, the last day of 2015, I wanted to share with you The Best of 2015 ; the five most viewed recipes on Mummy Made.It and my favourite five recipes from 2015. For the second year in a row the Carrot Cake is the most viewed recipe (thanks to Paleo Grubs) with a new contender in the Top 5, the Lemon and Blueberry Bread (I think it’s the Blueberry Cream that makes it so tempting). The Mississippi Mud Pie was one of my first ever recipes (hence the terrible photo!) but it has definitely stood the test of time, and taste!

Deciding on my Top 5 was difficult as there were at least ten that I wanted to use. My pregnancy cravings this year were caramel and peanut butter so it goes without saying that my number one recipe for 2015 was the Snickers Cake. BEST CAKE EVER! The surprise addition was the slow cooked Pumpkin Spice Cake which is now my favourite method to bake a cake.

So as 2015 draws to a close (hopefully I’ll be asleep when the clock strikes 12) I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you all so much for supporting Mummy Made.It. Without readers and bakers like yourself Mummy Made.It would just be the ramblings of a mad baker who really loves Sweet Potato. It makes me smile to know that so many of you make and love my recipes as much as I do.

Enjoy your night celebrating all you have accomplished in 2015 and I look forward to spending 2016 with you!
