Guilt-less Desserts & Treats for your Family
HAPPY (almost) THANKSGIVING
Whilst my only experiences of an actual Thanksgiving have been through television (so I’m thinking overcooked turkeys, yams and an inevitable family squabble over something that no one really remembers; sound right?!) I am happy to enable any celebration that allows me to eat dessert. I’ve had a lot to be thankful for these past 12 months; a new house, a new daughter and only one bad hair cut. A pretty productive year really!
I have put together a list of my favourite Gluten Free and Paleo Thanksgiving Desserts. This is a pretty busy time of year so I’ve taken the liberty of planning your menu for you; which leaves you more time to eat! If you don’t celebrate Thanksgiving these recipes are equally as good for a Christmas Party or an end of year function.
There’s no reason to compromise your health during this festive period. All these recipes are Gluten Free and Dairy Free and many contain hidden vegetables. Whilst even Mummy Made.It treats are still sometimes foods, these desserts allow you to enjoy your celebration without being left out or missing out. Food is such an important part of the celebration of Thanksgiving (I know this from ‘The Brady Bunch’) and making sure everyone can have their cake, and not feel sick or guilty afterwards, is so important.
